Bromley - Kent

Our Leicht Kitchen Designer worked with this client to make an individual mark on a layout that had been thought about for a while before coming in.

The clients had been working with an award-winning architect for this new build and wanted the kitchen to be in keeping with its modern design language. They required a lot of storage and knew they wanted a bank of units (floor to ceiling) on the back wall which would house the Miele appliances and include Leicht’s fantastic pocket door unit. They liked the velvety matt surface of the Bondi finish along with the Carbon Grey colour (which was matched on the sink/ hob run with the Compac Smoke Grey worktop), this was set off with the Artic White giving a timeless classic elegance with a clarity of form enhanced by the handles on the back wall, the mid-height grip rails and the sloping extractor by Siemens.

By using understated colours there was scope for the Caesarstone worktop (Calacatta Nuvo) to really add character and interest with the dramatic veining running throughout. Using considered proportions from the position of the island and length of the sink run, to the height of the glass splashback and the light shelf, the kitchen sits well in this large open space both large enough for storage requirements whilst not overpowering the rest of the space.

The clients opted for Siemens integrated appliances along with the hood, induction and modular gas hob, then Miele in the bank of units and Wine Cooler on the island.

Quooker Taps (Fusion Twin Taps) Square in Brushed Chrome.
As a final touch they used Buster and Punch light fittings over the island which matched the Quooker turn handle.
